So I'm not much of a blogger, but I'm going to give it a try!
What's on my mind today??? WEDDING, WEDDING, WEDDING!!!!! Bridesmaid dresses to be more specific. I'm making the dresses for all of our girls, 4 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl. I picked what I thought would be easy, a Kwik Sew pattern. Don't let the name fool you though, it's only quick for the experienced sewer! For beginners like me it's still taking forever! So I picked an empire waist dress that would be easy (ha ha ha!) to put together.
So far I've almost completed one dress. The hem is extremely uneven, and the zipper may never be permanently sewn in! The second dress is a less complete than the first, I haven't finished attaching the lining to the bodice, the zipper hasn't even been basted in yet because this dress isn't big enough for it's very excited(not so patient) owner! I must have gone wrong somewhere in the measurements!! :(
There are only 38 days left until the wedding so time isn't really on my side at all...

Update: I may have just decided on a completely different idea for the bridesmaids :/ we will see how it goes tonight.......
